Doctoral Education for Nurse Faculty

These are the types of questions that are being directed towards students of nursing who may be interested in a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing degrees. Doctoral Education Summit
Supported by the Maryland Higher Education Commission Nurse Support II Program, the Doctoral Education Summit #4 will be held on May 4, 2021. An overview of both nursing and non-nursing doctoral programs in Maryland was presented and important issues to consider in choosing a program was discussed. Please submit the Doctoral Education Summit #4 registration form by April 27, 2021.
This workshop:

· Summarizes the breadth of doctoral programs in Maryland

· Compares and contrasts DNP and PHD degrees and programs

· Identifies issues to consider in choosing a program including financial support

· Describes how to best position yourself for application to different programs
